Come and join us again for an informative and enjoyable day of foraging for edibles, all available in our own backyards.

Melany Wright from “ForagedFare” has accumulated years of knowledge ready to share! Our workshop will cover medicinal and culinary, with two bonus topics, “beauty and coastal greens”.

Weed frittatas, salsa’s, and wild fruit cordials are just some of the delicious fare covered and eaten on the day!

Light lunch provided.

MENZSHED Tapawera was established during 2013 to:

• provide a place for men in the Tapawera and districts community to learn skills from each other,
• engage and support all groups of men in the Tapawera and districts community to promote identity, sociability, companionship, physical activity, education and
• share, disseminate and preserve the skills, abilities and interests that are relevant to the Members and the community.

Our shed is located on the Tapawera Recreation Reserve.  The entrance is from Matai Cres, just before number 14.  

We are open each Saturday from 10am.
