Community Library
The community library is part of the school library at Tapawera Area School.
Open to residents during term time on Mon, Wed & Thurs 9.30am-3.15pm; Tuesday & Fri 10am-2.30pm.
The library is located directly behind the tennis courts at the school. Membership is free and the library has a great range of adult fiction and non-fiction books. Members can access the library catalogue online.

GP/Nurse Clinics in Tapawera
Wakefield Health Centre provides services in Tapawera during school term time.
GP Clinic: Held Mondays 9am-12midday at the Plunket Rooms in Rata Street.
Nurse Clinics: A Nurse Clinic is held every second Tuesday from 12:30–1:30pm in the Health Room at Tapawera Area School. The clinic is free to school pupils.A Nurse Clinic is also held at the Plunket Rooms every second Tuesday from 9.30–10.30am.

Toy Library
We have a great variety of toys for our tamariki still, if you want your tamariki to have a fun weekend and since the weather is becoming colder, we have great hire options available for the family and tamariki such as a bouncy castle, board games, puzzles, bikes and ride-on cars, and many more fun toys to hire for children to build their imagination and have fun over the weekends!
So come down to the toy library to have a look! A huge thank you goes out to the Lotteries Commission for their ongoing support granting funds to help Tapawera Toy Library with operating costs. With this help we are able to maintain providing this wonderful service to our Tapawera whānau.
