Sit and Be Fit exercises, our Five Ways to Wellbeing for holistic health for over-65s.
Half hour of fun and easy exercises for strength, balance and movement then a cuppa.
We've been learning about the importance and value of laughter in our day!

Rangatahi Explorers (Tapawera Connect Youth)

Supporting our rangatahi one adventure at a time - Rangatahi explorers! A group to encourage and provide a safe and fun environment for our rangitahi (from year 7-13) to participate in some great activities and make some new friends. We ask for a koha to cover the costs. Transport and kai are provided, and we are always happy to welcome extra volunteers.

Youth Group is held fortnightly on a Friday starting around 3:45pm. 

Finishing times will vary depending on the activity.

We currently welcome rangatahi from year 7-year 13 and only ask for a koha. 

We want to encourage and provide a safe and fun environment for our rangitahi to participate in some great activities and make some new friends.

Transport and kai are provided, and we are always happy to welcome extra volunteers.

Community Library

The community library is part of the school library at Tapawera Area School. 

Open to residents during term time on Mon, Wed & Thurs 9.30am-3.15pm; Tuesday & Fri 10am-2.30pm.

The library is located directly behind the tennis courts at the school. Membership is free and the library has a great range of adult fiction and non-fiction books. Members can access the library catalogue online.
