Given the current interest in the future of the existing community centre the Tapawera & Districts Community Council is doing what it can to ensure community members have accurate and timely information relevant to discussions.
An Initial Seismic Assessment of the building was completed some time back. But to give some clarity the TDCC considered a more accurate assessment of the seismic risk of the building was needed so we arranged for a Detailed Seismic Assessment of the community centre.
