COMMUNITY-LED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Community Led Development Programme (CLDP) is an exciting partnership between the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) and the Tapawera community which will allow local people to envisage and create the Tapawera they’d like to see.

In September 2022 Tapawera joined the programme when Tapawera Connect signed a five-year agreement with DIA on behalf of the community. Click here to learn more about the Community-Led Development Programme.

It’s a great opportunity for the Tapawera community to take the lead and shape the future we all want to see. With CLDP it’s the community that is in the driving seat. Visit the Tapawera CLDP page to learn more and grab the opportunity to get involved!

If you have an idea for a community-led project or event, please contact us to find out how we can help.
